Revised Corridor of the Front Range Toll Road
WARNING!!! Some of this information is out of date. This map was created for the Front Range Toll Road Company by Felsburg Holt & Ullevig in March 2006. In June 2006 FRTRC hired Kellogg, Brown & Root to create another map and identify the landowners. That information is HERE. The new map is similar to this one but has moved in some places.
The FRTR Company has had a map created by Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, "a consulting firm which specializes in transportation planning, traffic engineering, civil engineering design and transportation related environmental services." A copy of the map was given to the High Plains Coalition for Responsible Transportation Policy who shared it with me. The map was created on March 28, 2006 and shows a new alignment for their proposed road. The map is on a low resolution aerial photo with few reference points (small version at left). I've copied the image of the road and laid it onto topo maps.
Weld County from Wellington to just north of the Platte River: North Weld 2.5MB

The full size map is a 6MB Adobe Acrobat file (pdf). It will take a LONG time to download with a dialup connection. RIGHT CLICK this link and save it to your disk: New FRTR Map If you click "View" on the Acrobat menu bar and then "Rotate Counterclockwise" it will display in the correct north-south orientation. Then use the magnifying glass tool (or zoom menu) multiple times to see more details. (Apparently it is opening differently for some people.) The HPCRTP's statement about this map is HERE.
