The 3 Mile Wide Gap

It seems unlikely that they would try to build the road west of the airport. There is a higher population density and more commercial property there than there is east of the airport. I've drawn the orange line above the airport and a Colorado Interstate Gas pumping station. The red line at 44th Lane is the eastern boundary of the toll road corridor. The green arrows show some possible routes. It could go straight south for a few miles before turning west. Or it could head southwest to Stem Beach from the point it crosses Hwy 96.

Either way, it will wipe out a path of farms.
