Thank you for all you are doing to wake-up the people in Weld County. It is interesting that we have never caught any articles in the Greeley Tribune about any of the Superslab meetings or happenings. You would think they would be a little more protective of their news media out there and want them to be informed instead of making it look like they are on the side of the Ray Wells schemes. I don't live in the path of the destruction but I do believe everyone needs to be informed. The underhanded way this has all been handled has really bothered me. We are proud to live in a democracy but is this freedom? And what about our farmers? Don't the bureaucrats realize where their food comes from? What about the ditches and the water? We already have water issues which were skimmed over this summer and the farmers suffered. What about the dairies out there this is going to affect? You don't just pick-up and move a dairy people.

Please add me to your list. I am in the process of building a home near Nunn. Thank you.

Please add my email to your update list for northern Weld County, Barnsville township. Thank you.

I live in El Paso County. I wish to get on your e-mail list. Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks for your hard work on this web site. I am one of those directly affected by this project. The "Texas Two-Step" move just wiped off our three properties in Yellow Pine Ranch, Kiowa (Elbert County.) Please add us to the email list.

First, I'd like to thank you for your efforts concerning the "Stupid Slab" project. I have an 80 acre future home-site, which is now within the revised corridor map. Please add me to your contact list. I truly appreciate your efforts, and would like to assure you that I am willing to do whatever I can to bring this FRTRC plan, and possible infringement on our rights, to an end.

is there a list of names i could have where this is going

I live in the corridor off of county road 65 in Adams county. I appreciate your work and updates. What are all the other jogs in the proposed road? Why wouldn't this follow a more linear path to the north?

Please add me to your list.

Please add me to your e-mail list. Also is there any way to make sure that we're not in the kill zone?

Great responses from the Guv candidates -- keep up the good work. I am reading regularly!

I had a neighbor tell me last night that my name is on a list to be one of the farms to be ran over by this road. Can you tell me where to search for that on the internet? I am also wanting to be added to your email list please. Where are we at with fighting this? I would also like to know if there is a contact person for Northern Weld County.

This may sound like a stupid question, but when are they supposed to contact people in Pueblo and what is the ETA of construction for people? Thanks for keeping us all informed.

Dear Mr. Beauprez, [copy to stupidslab.] All of my neighbors and I moved out to the eastern plains of Colorado to get away from population centers, busy highways, and pollution. We have endured many hardships including harsh weather, lack of services, and long commutes. However, this is the way we want to live. To face the prospect of having our properties taken away, even for a price, is attrocious. We are counting on your support of Colorado property owners to prevent this from happening. I would like to invite you to visit the beautiful countryside of eastern Colorado. Notice the open space, grazing antelope, and starry nights. Imagine the horrible impact of a huge, mostly unused highway and the devastation of families losing their well loved homes. Think hard before you decide economics are more important than the lives of your constituents. Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.

Please add me to your mailing list.

I know we who are going to be driven off our land, losing our homes and livelihood, are supposed to be sent notice of the fact that all we hold dear will be bulldozed. When is that to happen? And is there now an existing list? I'd sure like to know before I spend one more time on a bush or shrub to complete my landscaping project, or paint my house, or... Till I know for sure I'm throwing money away to do any of the things needing to be done. This is another form of terrorism. Where do we and our cattle go? How can I take my creek with me and where do I find another one? I was there when Mr. Wells said, at the Elizabeth Junior High 2 years ago, he would NOT go through the Bijou. Well guess what? That's where he's going, that's where I am and it's obvious he cared only for bottom line profits, power and control. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

Please add the below listed [6] email addresses to your mailing list. They all would like to be kept informed on changes or updates to this issue. If I'm reading the provided map correctly were going to have this mess right next to our property which will give us a great view from our sliding glass door!!! This is not the view we had envisioned when we moved onto our property, as we now presently view grass land with cattle and pronghorn on it!! We're totally against this stupid venture/project!

Add me to the mail list. We are right in the middle of this.

Would you add me to your list?

It is all just making me sick with so many beautiful well loved properties at risk including ours.

Rob, This is an interesting map. Notice that while he is hesitant to say the mileage west of Bennett, his map shows Bennett in the path, and the highway from a mile east of town that runs due north to Prospect Valley is just barely outside of the path. Adams County needs to keep on top of this. With the corridor covering from east of town to slightly west of town, he must be going to place it within spitting distance of their city park and swimming pool, which lie about a mile west of downtown. Great place for a hazmat spill?

Seems like perhaps a press conference with Malone and some of the disaffected Elbert folks might be in order. Let me know if you need help.

Thank you for posting this site. As of today, unfortunately my name is amongst the list of many homes to be taken by eminent domain. Could you please add me to your email list.

HI, Thanks a lot for all the updates on this Stupidslab. We really do appreciate all your work in keeping everyone informed.

Hi Rob, Do you have any contact info of people working against the Super Slab in Adams County? We have to stop this thing and I don't know anybody here that is working against it. I want to help. Any contact info would be appreciated. Most of my neighbors don't even know that this thing is going on. Thanks!

Hi Rob, Thanks for keeping us up to date!

What a crew! Ray Wells and the FRTRC = The gang that couldn't shoot straight! Keep up the good work exposing Well's crude attempts to be a businessman.

Rob - I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the clear concise emails that we get from you, your site is one I watch constantly. Do you think that the State Senators and Representatives are aware of this silly little man's schemes? Does he really think we are just going to sit by and let him thumb his nose at the law because he is above it? Especially with his Haliburton friends? Grrrrrr. Just venting, thanks.

Hello, So do most get fair market value for their land? I know like you said that most politicians sell out and that is sad. I have a feeling that there is not much time for many of us to prepare for a move like the one we all are facing. Many, like my father-in-law do not believe this is all possible. But I know that when people have money to burn and have interests that will deepen their own pockets, they will not rest until their success is accomplished to its' highest level. I know that we have future governor prospects that say that they will not let this happen but I do believe that "Money talks and Bull**** walks". So in the end We are Screwed. Thank you for all you have done. You are highly appreciated. If there is any thing I can do on this end - Please let me know....

Hi, My myself and a business partner recently purchased property in El Paso County. We want to join the fight against this one annoying man. All that I will say is that he will have a fight on his hands if I have anything to do with it. Thanks for all of the hard work and updates.

I live in Elbert Co. but can't make any sense of your maps because nothing is labeled. Any way to get the new route on the site over a map with some roads labeled? [The new ones have some roads labelled]

Please add me to your list. Thanks

Dear Rob, Thanks for all your incredible work. What you have discovered is great stuff for our side. The Rocky and the Post will find this a very juicy angle to followup the devastating piece they did on the preposterous waste of the tollroads across CO a month or two ago. The results will be very bad PR for Wells.

Could you please add us to your e-mail notices. This land theft has gone from 1/2 mile south of us to about 1/4 mile East of us. Thank You.

Thank you for your most informative information. I would appreciate the email follow ups.

Great Job - keep the information coming! Please add me to your email notice list!

I would like to be added to your mailing list

Please add me to the mailing list- thanks!

Please add me to the list. Where can I see a map with the 3 mile radius?

Rob - I really appreciate your continued updates. Since you seem to be 'in the know' on so many issues, I thought I'd run this question by. If this road HAS to be built, why aren't existing roads considered in the process. It seems I remember someone saying that because this was a private endeavor orignally, it had to be across private land - only the CDOT could utilize existing roads. Given the change in legislation with the CDOT involvement for condemnation, could this again be an opportunity? At least then the toll road would go through areas that have existing easements, etc. Just a thought. Keep up the good investigative work. Not sure where you find the time, but there are many of out here who appreciate it!

I, along with several other property owners in the designated 3 mile corridor were left off the Adams County list. It looks like I was slighted because the corridor was placed ½ mile inside the Adams County line and then ½ mile into Arapahoe County. The attached map is an exact copy of the one given to KBR and the exact list given to them – there are 4 X the number of names on this list. I don’t know how many others along the corridor were left off the list simply because they were just outside the pink line in Adams, but the list attached is all the names within the yellow area.

I would like to ask if you would add my friend’s names to your e-mail list. They would like to receive the updates.

Rob: At first I thought your name of your website was maybe a little too severe but now I see that it was aptly named. Rob where can I get an accurate map of where the stupid thing is supposed to go across El Paso County. I have seen so many different locations that I am totally confused. Thank you Rob. I appreciate all you do too. I have little time to offer but I can occasionally donate some money. Let me know about your organization in that regard. [I don't need or accept any donations but the various county groups do.]

Thank you Rob for being so vigilant in your timely updates and for keeping a close watch on these buzzards! I am very grateful for you!!

Where can I see the northern elpaso county portion of the map?

Please add me to the email list

Rob, is this incompetence or just another way for ray to jerk us around?

Hello, My husband and I are very concerned about the slab. We live just SE of Bennett and according to the map it looks like we will be looking out our back window to see the highway which is something we obviously do NOT want. When do you think you'll have more information on the affected properties in Arapahoe county? Please add us to you mailing list so we can keep ourselves informed of any new developments. Thank you for you diligence in this matter.

Thanks Rob, I appreciate it bunches.... Stay on top of those Land Grabbing S.O.B.s and see if we cant kick them out of this state....

Thank you, thank you Rob for staying on top of this and letting all of us know. I just sent a letter to the editors of both our papers and will be keeping an eye on things and ready to help where I can.

We just heard about this about a week ago. We bought as far out as possible with the least population hoping to spend the rest of our lives here in peace. This was very shocking news for us. Thanks for all the hard work and passion to get people aware.

Good Afternoon Rob: I was reviewing the text list of land owners for Pueblo county. My family and my parents live on 36th lane, but our names do not appear on the list, but our neighbor down the road does. I know your list states all the landowners so I wondering if this list is correct. The neighbors whose names are on the list are only a mile down the road, and by looking at the map my address and my parents should be part of the highlighted area. If the list is correct and it misses up, I understand we still problem and need to keep fighting. Have a great day. [They are outside of the 3 mile corridor]

PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED AS TO WHAT IT REALLY IS. ALSO WHERE DO I FIND THE NAMES IN ELBERT COUNTY. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP!!

I am from Nunn CO. and I was wondering if you could help me. I do not care for Well or people like him. I think that the way he is doing this highway is wrong. The map that they had last year showed the corridor just missing our place and the new map shows our place in the corridor. My family homesteaded our place and I am the fourth generation to live here. The way that our land lays I know that they will put the highway on us. Myself as well as my family have not worked, sweated and sacrificed for 102 years to have our land taken away by a slime ball. I would appreciate if you could give some contacts in my area.

Please add me to your list.

Hello, Please add me to your email list of updates on the Stupid Slab… I used to be in the 12 mile wide corridor but since the changes, I am not in the 3 mile corridor. Doesn’t matter tho’, I plan on fighting right along side my neighbors that are directly impacted. You never know when they will change their minds again and will need your neighbors help to cover your back. Thanks.

I would like to be added to your mailing list please. Thank you.

Please add me to your list.

Could you please add me to your email list for the SuperSlab status update? We’re within the 3 mile corridor in Weld County, so we’re really in the thick of it. Thanks for continuing to post updates. It is really helpful. God knows, our government representatives aren’t going to keep up as up-to-date. Thanks again.

Thank you Rob...

Thank you so much for your info and quick reply! I appreciate all that you are doing!

I just found out that I'm a home owner in the proposed corridor. Does this mean I will have to sell or will we just be affected by all the hub-bub and tax hikes? You may not know but thanks for your time anyway.

Please add me to your email list. We are in the path and don't plan on being a casualty. Thanks.

Rob, What do you know about the latest rumors that are circulating? Some sources are saying that the full 3 miles will be purchased and others are saying that only 660 ft will be purchased. I did read about the 660 ft in the Rocky Mtn News article, as well as hear it on the grapevine.

I am a Realtor in Keenesburg and would like to know where I can get a copy of the maps for Weld and Adams counties?

Rob, Thank you for keeping us informed. I called Kathy Oatis the other day and she said that they would send a certified letter to all those whose properties would be affected. My name is on that list, I am just looking for that letter.

Please add me to your e-mail list.

Yep, we just found out our house is part of ground zero for the slab. We have not gotten out letter yet, but our name is on the list of El Paso county people that is on your web site. A neighbor said there was a 90 day time frame on clearing out of the house. I cannot find out anything else about this 90 day time frame. Have you heard anything in relation to this? It seems really fast to be condemning land and houses when the road itself will take years to build, etc. [Thanks to the passage of SB-78 and HB-1003 there is a long process of approvals required. No one will be forced out before that happens.]

I live in the corridor and would apreciate being on your mailing list.

Rob, Thanks for your diligence in keeping us posted on the Stupidslab through your informative e-mails. As former Adams Country residents who were severely impacted by DIA, we are now ready to fight to keep our new home in northern Weld County peaceful and quiet. Keep up the good work and advise your readers as to the appropriate actions and contacts needing to be made.

Hi Rob, We've been in on this fight from the start just like you and many others. Good job on the website and thanks so much for posting the maps where we can easily look over them when need be. Please add us to your email list. We're near the 3 mile wide corridor and will continue fighting for our family, neighbors and community. What a disgrace this whole toll road and eminent domain business is!

Please add my email to your mailing list! And thanks for all of your hard work on this most important issue!!!

Rob... Thank you for all your HARD work. I am in the path!!!!!! Would you be so kind as to add me to the E- mail list?

I am from Weld County. Could you briefly describe how to get a superslab map from the courthouse from Weld County?

>>blight fraud... that's a great way of putting it - highlights the fact that these crooks will keep trying to put one over on us honest folk! ...

Please add me to you email list. Thanks very much. We live in El Paso County.
