At left is the Elbert County portion of the three mile wide corridor as filed with the Secretary of State. At right is the same thing as provided by Kellogg, Brown & Root to Elbert County in order to identify landowners. In the middle the two are combined and land belonging to Wilmatt, Limited Partnership of Austin TX is shown in red. The S-curve wasn't in earlier versions of the toll road corridor. When Texas based Kellogg, Brown and Root were hired to map a route they swerved around the land of Texas zillionaire Julia Matthews Wilkinson. Read the 8/17/06 entry on the homepage for details.
