A Little About Myself

My name is Rob Dougherty. I was born and raised in Pueblo on Cleveland St. a couple of blocks from the stadium. I went to Carlile Grade School, Keating Jr. High and Central High (1970). Then to CU-Boulder (B.A. Physics & Math 1975.) In 1976 I went into the Navy Nuke Sub service. Left the Navy in 1980 as a Lieutenant (junior grade).

After the Navy I worked as a mainframe programmer and consultant in California, Colorado and Saudi Arabia. I spent about 8 years total in Saudi Arabia. Companies I've worked for include General Dynamics, Litton, EDS, US West, Diners Club, IBM, the Saudi Navy and Saudi Aramco.

In 1998 I returned to Pueblo and bought my first home. It is on 40 acres of rangeland on 40th Lane. I like it fine without a highway, railroad or bogus easement.
