Two Years Too Late...
That's CDOT's opinion of our situation.

CDOT's Office of Government Relations lists 12 current requirements for building a toll road and concludes that that is too much red tape for a multi-billion dollar project. They say the chance to fix problems with the process has passed and it's now too late. This despite the fact that a committee member who passed these requirements acknowledged that they would probably need adjustment in the future. And HB-1343 doesn't add any requirements it justs changes the order of events to prevent premature property title problems for landowners.
